Now check this out:

This is from the same website regarding the draft. According to them, Adrian Peterson "Because of his upright running style, Peterson has been favorably compared to Eric Dickerson." But, later on in the same article they say "[Marshawn's] up-right running style is being criticized now, too."
http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/6512858

Now tell me how that makes sense. Both guys have great speed and strength. Both have great moves and vision. Their production at their respective colleges is very impressive. But how can the so called experts praise AP's running style but condemn marshawn for running the same way in the VERY same article?

Sure, AP does run faster with a 4.38 versus Marshawn's 4.46, but that's straight line speed. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that Marshawn is necessarily better than AP for one reason or another, nor am I saying that AP is not deserving of his draft status. However, I do think the experts are mistaken in saying that Marshawn's draft status as a top 20 pick is in jeapordy. Remember that Jerry Rice ran a 4.6 and Emmitt Smith ran a 4.71

For reference, here are some times of RB's from last year's draft:
Addai: 4.42
Jones-Drew: 4.39
Leon Washington: 4.43
Deangelo Williams: 4.4
Maroney: 4.49

Marshawn and AP will be fine RBs in the NFL, and both have top 15 talent.

Wow, if you read that entire article, it almost seams as if Green Bay is skeptical of Marshawn’s character. No worries, just allow Aaron Rodgers to attest to what a good guy he is…
