Oregon game to be televised on ABC
Posted by Steve | September 17, 2007 at 11:09 am | In Games |ABC has picked up the broadcast of the Cal-Oregon when Cal travels up to Autzen Stadium to take on the 13th-ranked Ducks. This will be one of the Bears’ most difficult away games of the season, and should be quite an offensive shootout.

The only people who were impressed were the AP pollsters, who were too busy watching Texas stumble against my old Golden Knights (the college football team of my youth, back when I lived in Orlando–right where an academic genius like George O’Leary belongs) and Wisconsin spot 31 to the Citadel. So far our lack of TV coverage has helped us; not many people outside of the Bay Area have been looking into us. The excuses won’t last for long though–Oregon looms in two weeks, most likely on ABC. Well that will make the first 5 games televised with at least 4 more coming up. Its really worth the extra 12 bucks a month to get the reginal sports package, if your a bear fan from out of state.
