CAL Fans:Does anyone know why Alex Cook and Robert Mullins 07 recruits are not on the roster?
I hope they are still on the team.

My observation from the Washington State game is that Longshore is healthy, but ineffective. His passes are simply inaccurate, mostly because he constantly throws off his back (right) foot, which is supposedly his bad wheel.

Aaron Rogers had bad technique also, and Tedford fixed that problem brilliantly. The fact that he can't fix Longshore's mechanics suggests that the problem is with Nate, not Jeff.

I think we need to groom a QB with real promise, Kevin Riley, and I suspect that against USC, Nate will be injured again and Riley will get his chance.

A 2 QB system can work if Tedford's play chart shows what plays Riley can do and what Longshore can do. Keep Longshore's number of plays limited, and he might still be good come the final minutes.

It's a real shame about Davis- he looked really impressive.

i don't want to press the panic button, i just think that if longshore isn't healthy riley should start. i healthy riley is better than an injured longshore...
