The writer at Cyberbears said this:

Re: Williams, he's still technically a part of the class. Things are being considered on both sides, contrary to what you may have heard elsewhere.

Tyler, I did notice the Terrell Williams commit on Scout.com. However, scout.com is the only site that seems to be reporting this, and I am uncertain where the truth stands.

Bridgford may be the first to commit in 2008, but he's the second player added to the 2009 class. It should be noted that Terrell Williams, a WR out of Texas, committed to Cal back in October. Both Williams and Bridgford are on ESPN's Top 150 Watch List.

Bridgford was just named the Co-MVP of the Nike Combine in Los Angeles with QB Matt Barkley (the USC commit considered to be the top recruit in the nation). Pretty good company there.

Scouting report from the combine:

QB Allan Bridgford opened a lot of eyes first by weighing in at 213 pounds, up 30 from last year's NIKE Camp. Even with the extra muscle from the weightroom, Bridgford still has very good footwork and knows how to move within the pocket. Showed above average arm strength and was very accurate throughout the day. Mechanically sound in all facets of the position from feet to hips to delivery. Threw for 2,500 yards and 25 Tds as a junior. Early offers from Stanford, Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado and Texas Tech. Lists UCLA, Cal, Arizona State, Notre Dame and Texas Tech as early favorites.
